Is there a paranormal presence on Oak Island?

Legend has it that Oak Island is cursed. Its treasure will only be found once seven people have died looking for it. This monument remembers the six deaths – so far.

There are stories of ghosts and mysterious lights guarding buried treasure in the area around Oak Island. Many of these stories were recorded by this folklorist, Helen Creighton.
